Saved from demolition, building #18 is a charming brick house a tiny design gallery moved into.
The introduction of new elements, namely a big opening and a steel front door, helped to achieve utility and simplicity. Inside, a small facility room was built. In the summer, an outdoor terrace serves as an extension of the space.
In spite of its small volume, the house has an open character. Spacious terrace allows for larger gatherings and a big glazing provides a nice view of the inside.
