‘Miłość’ is located on the ground floor of a prewar apartment building in Warsaw. After removing everything that a previous tenant left but concrete wall panels, the space was given a complete makeover.
The founders of ‘Miłość’ - Izabella Budryn and Adam Tarasiuk – came up with a concept that brings together a café, a club, a vinyl store, a barber shop, a bookstore and a deli all in one space.
A multi-functional character of the place is reflected in its structure. A sequence of spaces of differing scales and proportions gives a feeling of navigating a maze.
Neutral, toned down color palette was introduced along with natural, simple materials: oak, transparent glass, black painted steel and classic furniture designs painted grey.
Two accent elements are featured in the main space: a living green wall and an ephemeral, wavy paper ceiling.
